Roof pitch is one of the most used terms in roofing.
So what does the 7/12 in the example to the right mean?
The 7 means that the roof rises 7" for every 12" it runs. The example to right shows 2 different ways to determine or calculate roof pitch, also called roof slope.

In Example A, the measurements are taken from on top of the roof. Simply mark a level at 12", hold it perfectly level and measure from the roof surface to your 12" mark, this will give you the rise. Be careful with this method as a roof with many layers of shingles, or any type of roofing that is irregular can give you less than precise results.

In Example B, the measurements are taken from the bottom of the rafters, the procedure to calculate roof pitch is the same. This method tends to be more accurate because no layers of roofing are involved. To use this method there are 3 possible places to take your measurements. 1. The underside of a barge rafter on a gable end. 2. The underside of a rafter on a overhang at the bottom of the roof 3. The underside of a rafter in the attic.

Terminology used to describe roof pitch or slope, include 7/12, 7-12, 7 to 12,7 and 12, 7 on 12.

Time you have lots of .... really . Right now you just waste so much time on ESCAPING that it seems you have NO TIME .

While you are building your homes and maybe living in a CAMP of sorts that customized 16x 16 comfy shed ..... ( make it comfortable )

and , try it just try .... washing those few clothes you make dirty each week by hand ..Do that first before you invest in the D/C washing machine and the pannels needed to run it .

all it takes is to fill the tub with water and some soap and the clothes ,,, stir it up for 1 minute count to 60 , then let it set .. let the chemicals do your work for you ...come back in 5 minutes ,, stir it up agian for a 60 count and drain , and then fill a rinse cycle and do the same thing , and then do a second risnse but make tha one a quicky .

now for wringing your clothes OK HERE YOU DO HAVE TO ACTUALL INVEST ON AVERAGE .. 30 seconds per item ...

so that means 7 t shirt and 7 pair of pants and 7 pair of socks = 21 items or about 10 minutes. So what are you realy going to do ? watch more TV get fatter and fatter or if you were to create a nice wash room , it could be an OVER LOOK onto the world of nature ..instead of TV.
