This is a story told in the books attributed to Zhuangzi:

It is about a SEEKER , like yourself , who met two men on his search for the truth about life.  The first man was quite happy livng a basic life in harmony with his nature living in nature . The seeker asked him " what makes you so happy and contented with your life ?" and the man's reply was  I DON'T KNOW .

So , the SEEKER continued his search for enlightenment and happiness and met a second man , this man was was happy and content living a life as simple farmer . The seeker asked him  " What makes you so happy and contented with your life " and the man's reply was  I KNOW BUT I CAN'T SAY

So the seeker searched out the Yellow Emperor to ask him how to become enlightened to use to TAO to find happiness and peace . The seeker described his time with Mr. I don't Know and Mr. I can't Say and the Yellow Empereor said ...

" Mr. I DON'T KNOW  is one with the Toa and Mr. I CAN'T SAY is close , it is YOU and Myself who are the ones with the problems. We are searching actively for that which can only be found by just BEING IT "

This is a short version of the true story , the deepest of the parables told day to day by the Sages of the past .. were never written down on those few sheets of bamboo . The Adventures of the SEEKER the lessons held in those storys are lost . YEt they still live in our minds as we think about the POSSILBES . As we look to nature to guide us back to living in it with it , being it.

What is searching actively ? The active part is in reality a symptom of the deepest CAUSE , and that is ________ ? To give you that answer is like giving you a fish when in reality teaching you to fsih will serve you for a life time !
